Stefano Scarampella was an Italian stringed instrument maker of Brescian origin who worked in Mantua. He was the brother and student of Giuseppe Scarampella [1][2][4]. Scarampella was honored with silver medals (Premiato con Medaglie d'Argento) for his work [1][2][4]. His documented instrument production spans from at least 1898 to 1910, with known examples of violins and violas bearing his labels [1][2][4][5].
